Eric Keilman, Distribution System Foremen for the City Water Department is keeping us up to date on the unidirectional water main flushing the city is currently working on.
Today, Friday, July 18th they are starting at South Center Street and heading south to South Walnut, on to South Plum to, Schuyler to, Lewis and then all mains south of the tracks will be flushed. From that point they will go from Marlou Place, Pennsylvania Avenue and the Lincolnway East area.
City customers who experience brown water should flush their cold water lines for 5 to 10 minutes by letting you water run. If you continue to have issues, contact the Plymouth Water Department.
