On Saturday, July 12 about 4:00 p.m. Sgt. Trent Stouder of the Bremen Police Department made a traffic stop at Dogwood Road south of US 6 on a vehicle for an equipment violation.
The driver was 49 year old Edward Cochran of Warsaw. During the investigation the Bremen Police Departments K-9 detected drugs in the vehicle and a search discovered a white substance believed to be cocaine Edward Cochran was incarcerated at the Marshall County Jail with charges of Possession of Cocaine, Operating a Vehicle While Endangering a Person, and Operating a Vehicle on a Controlled Substance. His bond was set at $1,505 cash and he is scheduled to appear in Marshall Superior Court II on July 29th.
