The Triton Community Schools will host a fundraising event this Saturday, May 31st with the help of Oliver Ford Lincoln.  A Lincoln Driven to Give event is scheduled from 9 a.m. until noon with participants raising $20 for each test drive in a Lincoln vehicle.  As a bonus, the first 100 people to take a second test drive in the Lincoln MKX will raise an additional $20 for the school system.

Superintendent Donna Burroughs said drivers will have the opportunity to pick where their $20 donation from Lincoln.  They can specify Triton Elementary or Triton Jr./Sr. High School and in athletics or education.

Not only will there be the Lincoln Driven to Give event, but the school will have concessions for breakfast and lunch, a silent auction, and a kids’ carnival… and it’s all on the High School grounds.

Burroughs said, “We’re trying to get 300 drivers so we can raise $8000 for the Triton schools.”

To participate in the Lincoln Driven to Give event you must be 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license.  Only one driver per address can help the cause so if you own a business you could use that address too.
