As our nation marks the 100th anniversary of the first Community Foundation, the Indiana Philanthropy Alliance has requested pictures to visually highlight how far Indiana has come since the advent of community philanthropy.

With this request, the Marshall County Community Foundation is in search of 1 to 2 pictures of Marshall County from 1914-1990 as well as 2 to 3 pictures of our county from 1990 to the present.  Examples include:

·      Photos of our community’s main street or landmark circa 1914 and then circa 2014

·      Photos of a property in 1990 that has been transformed through community philanthropy (such as a field that has been transformed into a community center or a school update with technology)

·      Photos you feel celebrate how far Indiana has come within the past 100 years and represent how our community has grown with endowment support.

All pictures must be submitted by June 1, so anyone who might have a picture to submit should stop by the Community Foundation office at 2701 North Michigan Street in Plymouth.
