4/16/14 On Tuesday, April 15th, the fifth grader students at Triton Elementary School celebrated the culmination of ten weeks of DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) lessons with a graduation ceremony in the Triton Auditorium. Officer Haskins, of the Bourbon Police Department, led the ceremonies. Bourbon Police Chief Martin also attended the ceremony in support of the students. Triton Elementary Principal Jeremy Riffle shared some remarks about showing P.R.I.D.E. with the students.   One essay winner from each classroom read their winning essays to their classmates. The winners were: Maddie Ritchison from Mrs. Brosman’s class; Jacob Neff in Ms. Hanby’s class; and Matisyn Davis in Ms. Hostrawser’s class.  The overall school winner, Maddie Ritchison, will represent Triton at the county DARE Banquet later this spring.
