Plymouth FOP Lodge 195 and members of Delta Theta Tau joined forces to provide 200 Easter Baskets to those less fortunate this holiday season. The FOP purchased the baskets, grass, candy and small toys. They were also able to secure a donation of fluffy bunnies to put in each basket.
The Delts purchased healthy snacks including granola bars and chewy fruit snacks. They also gathered this week and put all the goodies into the baskets and prepared them for distribution.
On Wednesday Delta Theta Tau members delivered baskets to Menominee Elementary. 136 of the Easter Baskets will be given to elementary students who are participating in the Blessings in a Backpack program. The remaining baskets will be distributed to the Bread of Life Food Pantry and the Neighborhood Center.
Plymouth FOP would also like to that Kroger’s for their generous donation to the project.
