PLYMOUTH – The Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety opened bids for upcoming “mill and fill” projects around the city in the regular meeting this week.

The city undertakes yearly projects to repair streets around Plymouth and this year five companies put in bids to do the work.

Bids were received by;

-E&B Paving of Rochester $363,797

-Niblock Excavating of Bristol $391,800

-Phend & Brown of Milford $350,860

-Reith-Reilly of South Bend $392,890

-Walsh & Kelly of South Bend $343,040

City Engineer Rick Gaul asked that the bids be taken under advisement to allow for him to review them. He will make a recommendation at the next meeting of the Board.
