04/02/14 On Saturday, March 22, at the IHSCGA (Indiana High School Color Guard Association) State Finals, Plymouth High School senior Kristen Gergley was awarded a $1,300.00 academic scholarship from the color guard association.
Brian Ames, Band Director for PHS said, “Kristen was one of eight Indiana students picked for this scholarship out of thousands who applied. She is the first Plymouth student to receive this award.”
All throughout her high school career, Kristen has participated in both Marching Band Color Guard and Winter Color Guard. On top of maintaining a high GPA, balancing honors classes, and a part time job, Kristen is also an active member in the community and in her church.
