About 6:30 Thursday evening firefighters responded to the corner of Toto Road ad U.S. 35 for a large fire. The fire was at the scrap yard. When firefighters responded buildings on the property were fully engulfed.
Eight departments responded to battle the blaze. And one firefighter was treated at the scene. The fire was brought under control about 8 p.m.
The Indiana State Fire Marshall’s office will help investigate and determine a cause for the fire.
