World Vital Records Database Now Available at Culver-Union Township Public Library

  04/23/13 Culver-Union Township Public Library is now offering library patrons access to the World Vital Records subscription research database. World Vital Records, founded in 2006, allows researchers simple and affordable access to over 4.2 billion family history records, including 1790-1940 US censuses and images, 100 million pages of newspaper from 1739 to the present, historical maps, military records, birth, marriage, and death records. Along with the recently acquired World Vital Records, Culver Union Township Public Library also offers other research databases including Access Newspaper Archive, Ancestry.com, and Heritage Quest.

CUTPL’s Genealogy group meets every Wednesday at 10 AM and this program is free and open to the public. All ages and research skill levels are welcome, from beginner to expert. Anyone interested in learning how to get started with researching their family history is encouraged to attend. Research assistance is available.
