10/31/13 October is Pastor Appreciation Month. Miller’s Senior Living Community Marketing Director Anna Corbett honored the Marshall County area pastors with a stress ball which is a replica of the world. Attached to the ball was a note of appreciation along with the Bible verse John 16:33 which states: “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
Many of the area pastors volunteer at Miller’s Merry Manor and Miller’s Assisted Living. They have led Bible studies, sing-a-longs musical programs as well as serve communion and hold church services. Miller’s staff and residents are appreciative of all that the pastors and their lay leaders do for them throughout the year.
