10/07/13 On Friday, October 4th at approximately 8:45 a.m. Plymouth Police Officer Derek Workman conducted a traffic stop at Michigan and Adams Streets on 55 year old David Ruff Jr. of Plymouth. During a short investigation it was found that Mr. Ruff had an active warrant out of St. Joseph County for Identity Deception. Ruff was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail and held with no bond for St. Joseph County.
On Sunday, October 6th at approximately 12:00 a.m. Officer Chris Miller was dispatched to the residence at 509 East Garro Street in reference to a possible fight. Arriving on the scene Officer Miller found outside, 25 year old William Z. Wright who resides at the residence on top of a female and a child outside of the apartment. After a brief investigation Mr. Wright was taken into custody for Domestic Battery, Criminal Confinement with a Deadly Weapon and Strangulation. He was transported to the Marshall County Jail and held with no bond.
