10/01/13 On Sunday, September 29th at approximately 7:15 a.m. the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department received a 9-1-1 call in regards to a rollover accident in the area of U.S. 6 and 1C Road. Deputy Les McFarland responded to the scene to investigate the accident. The driver of the vehicle, 24 year old Michael C. Lambert of Mishawaka was traveling eastbound on U.S. 6 when he lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle proceeded off the roadway and rolled over.
During the investigation Officer McFarland suspected that Michael Lambert was intoxicated. He was taken into custody for Operating While Intoxicated and was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on a $1,505 bond.
