07/24/13 Miller’s Merry Manor of Culver and Plymouth and Plymouth’s Miller’s Assisted Living hosted Senior Day at the Marshall County 4-H Fair on Thursday afternoon, July 25th.  Approximately 100 seniors braved the heat and ventured to Argos to enjoy the annual Senior Day activities.

The festivities began with free BINGO for all.  Many prizes were awarded.  The cover-all grand prize went to Jean Rensberger of Argos.  The Miller’s dietary departments provided a free lunch to all who wished to take part.  Representatives from SJRMC were also on hand to provide wellness checks.

In keeping with tradition local entertainer Quentin Flagg entertained the seniors in an hour long concert featuring hits from the 40’s – 90’s.  Flagg shimmied and danced in the heat as his singing took the audience down memory lane.  He sang such classics as “Mack the Knife”, “Fly Me To The Moon”, “Hot, Hot, Hot” and “Peppermint Twist”.  Flagg visited with the group between songs and mentioned it is always a pleasure to come back to his hometown to perform.
