06/24/13 The City of Plymouth meetings will be held tonight (6/24) in the Council Chambers of City Hall. 

The Board of Public Works and Safety meets at 6 p.m. They are expected to award the bid for the Baker and Fairbanks Street improvement project.  Also on the agenda are reports from various city department heads and the city engineer’s report on the Bauer Building parking lot.

The City Attorney will present two resolutions, one to declare certain EMS bills delinquent and uncollectable.  The second resolution is to declare certain water, wastewater, garbage and storm-water bill delinquent and uncollectable. 

The agenda also includes a discussion of 300 Charles Street. 

The Common Council will meet at 6:30.  Their agenda includes proposed amendments to the zoning ordinance and the zoning map. 

The Council has three ordinances to consider, the first is approval of a lease by the Plymouth Redevelopment commission for the shell building in the industrial park.  The second ordinance is an amendment to the city’s noise ordinance with the final ordinance for consideration being an amendment to the city Community Improvement Commission. 

Also on the agenda of the Plymouth Common Council are two resolutions.  The first one proposes to increase the membership of the Plymouth Board of Aviation Commissioners. The final resolution is approval of the proposed update for the City’s Comprehensive Plan. 

In other business Jay Bahr, Executive Director of the Marshall County Economic Development Commission will introduce himself to members of the City Council.
