06/13/13 On Saturday, June 8th at approximately 7:03 P.M. the Marshall County Dispatch Center received a vehicle theft report from a female subject.  The caller advised that a 2006 Chrysler Mini-Van had been stolen from her residence two nights prior.  She advised that she had seen the van driving through Centennial Park and notified neighbors who assisted in following the vehicle after it took off. 

The joint effort of the caller, Marshall County Dispatchers and the Plymouth Police Department were able to apprehend the two male subjects after they abandoned the van on Shalley Drive and Fairbanks Avenue.  The subjects ran through the Conservation Club House property where a graduation party was going on. 

The suspects, a 16 year old, male from Plymouth and 18 year old, Cody Rhoads of Plymouth were taken into custody.  Rhoads was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he is being held for receiving stolen property and possession of marijuana charges.  His cash bond was set at $3,000.  The 16 year old minor was held at the Marshall County Probation Department.

Officers processed the vehicle for evidence before releasing it back to the owner. They located items believed to have been taken the same night.
