05/16/13 This Friday is the last chance to get your tickets for the May 22nd Marshall County Historical Society’s Annual Dinner at Christo’s Banquet Center. This year the featured guest speaker is Tommye Lou (Glaze) Beavers, 1960 Miss Plymouth, Miss Indiana and Miss America 4th runner-up.
Glaze Beavers will be joined in a panel discussion by nine former Miss Plymouths representing the years between1958 and 1987.
Nicole (Rash) Cook the 2007 Miss Indiana, 1st runner-up in the Miss America pageant and currently “Ms. America” will also be in attendance.
Tickets to the dinner and event can be purchased at the Marshall County Museum or by calling 574-936-2306. Historical Society member tickets are $25 and non-members are $30. The social hour begins at 6 p.m. with dinner at 7p.m.
