05/08/13 Jennifer Oliver Houin and Jessica Oliver, Co-founders of Plymouth Ounce of Prevention are excited to announce their donations from the 2012 fundraising campaigns.
Ounce of Prevention is a non-profit organization formed to increase awareness of and provide support for those faced with breast cancer. All funds raised go directly to help residents of Marshall County and surrounding areas.
Donations to the various organizations and projects include $3,000 to St. Joseph Radiology, $2,500 for the Community Hospital of Bremen, $6,000 for the Ounce of Prevention Scholarship, $2,500 to IU Starke, $2,700 for the Hello Gorgeous program, $2,050 for the Nancy Jaynes Memorial Scholarship, $1,000 to the PHS Careers Class, $3,500 to St. Joseph Health Center, $3,000 to the St. Joseph Cancer Institute, $2,000 for the Marshall County Cancer Association and $19,000 in the Ounce of Prevention Fund at the Marshall County Community Foundation.
