04/12/13 Riverside science teacher, Nikki Rumpler, will be presenting at the National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) national conference in Boston, Massachusetts next April 3-6, 2014. 

The NSTA is the largest organization in the world (with over 60,000 members) promoting excellence and innovation in science teaching and learning. 

Along with a representative from Purdue University, and a teacher from the West Lafayette area, Mrs. Rumpler will be presenting about the topic Engineering and Science:  Technological Partners. 

The presentation will focus on Science Learning Through Engineering Design (SLED) and the prosthetic leg task.  This is the partnership Plymouth Schools has had with Purdue University for the last two years.  This conference commonly has 15,000 people in attendance.
