04/10/13 Senator Dan Coats (R-Ind.) and Congresswoman Susan W. Brooks (R-Ind.) Tuesday announced an upcoming “Academy Day” session in central Indiana to provide students the opportunity to learn more about applying to one of the U.S. Service Academies. The informational session will take place on Saturday, April 13 at 1 p.m. ET at the Indiana National Guard facility in Lawrence, Ind. Brooks will provide opening remarks.

Representatives from both congressional offices and the academies will be available to speak with individuals about life at a U.S. Service Academy and tips on the application process. The academies include the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, U.S. Military Academy at West Point and U.S. Naval Academy.
