4 from Lima, Ohio Arrested on Possession of Marijuana

  03/07/13  On Sunday, March 3rd at approximately 2:00 p.m. Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy Les McFarland observed a vehicle going 76 mph in a 60 m.p.h. speed zone at US 30 and Apple Road.  Officer McFarland initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, 24 year old Stephon P. Cole of Ohio.   Cole was found to have a suspended license.

During the investigation Officer McFarland detected the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the interior of the vehicle. 

Officer Jonathon Bryant with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department along with Sergeant Rick Kanarr with the Bourbon Police Department assisted in the search of the vehicle and recovered a substance believed to be marijuana. 

The occupants of the vehicle 24 year old, Stephon Cole,

    25 year old Tikasha Dawson,

  21 year old Deontae Cowan and

  27 year old Glen Bridges all from Lima Ohio were arrested for possession of marijuana under 30 grams. 

All subjects was transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked each on a $4,005 cash bond.  During the booking process, a substance believed to be marijuana was located on  Deontae Cowan and Glen Bridges. A case report will be completed and forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
