03/01/13 The 4th Annual Marshall County FFA Toy Show and Ag Expo will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room at Plymouth High School this Sunday, March 3rd from 9 a.m. till 3 p.m.

The six area FFA Chapters; Argos, Bremen, John Glenn, LaVille, Plymouth and Triton are excited to be working in conjunction to being this annual event to the county.  There will be several farm toy vendors from all over the Midwest who will offer both farm toys along with NASCAR and other collectible toys.

Agribusinesses and services will have vending areas and information booths for participants to view and there is a silent auction fundraiser for all of the county chapters.  It will be held from 2 p.m. till 3 p.m. with the larger items being auctioned live about 3. Some of the items for the live auction include 6 bags of Pioneer Seed Corn P0832AMX, 10 bags of Asgrow Soybeans-Co-Alliance, 10 bags of Channel Soybeans – group 2 or 3 acceleron, 11 bags of Pioneer Corn, 6 bags of Pioneer Corn and 1 very large Stor-Loc MM7 tool chest that has a retail price of $7,600.

  To celebrate the FFA Toy Show members are offering a limited edition 4th Annual Marshall County FFA Toy Tractor.  This year’s tractor is a John Deer.

Also during the Toy Show the Marshall County 4-H Program will be there from noon till 3 with information on enrollment, and examples of 4-H members’ projects in a project fair open house.

Admission to the Marshall County FFA Toy Show and Ag Expo is $2 for adults and children 12 and under is free.  The event is open this Sunday from 9 to 3 and participants should use the north parking lot and north doors to enter the multi-purpose room at PHS.
