01/18/13 On Thursday, January 17, Earthworks Market made its move to a new location – 900 West Jefferson Street – same street, same side of the street, just a mile away.

With the aid of the entire Ancilla College Baseball Team, the ovens, baking pans, and general merchandise were packed, carried and trucked to the building that formerly housed Apex Therapy.

Earthworks volunteers and the generosity of the baseball players made the move a fun and easy event.  Sister Sue Rogers, Director of Earthworks, explained that this move puts the market into a building that is a better size for the baking and educational programs that take place at the market.

The Earthworks Food Co-Op and the delivery site for B&B Organics will also be relocated to the new site.

The Earthworks Market will be closed on Friday, January 18, but reopened on Saturday, January 19, 8am until 1pm.  For more information, please call Earthworks at 574.935.4164.
