10/26/12 Jennifer Houin from Oliver Ford said, “We were very fortunate to have two different entities give to the Ounce of Prevention Breast Cancer Fund the past couple of days.”
The first donation was from the Plymouth Shockers Softball team. Last Saturday and Sunday they had a two day co-ed and men’s softball tournament to raise money for Ounce of Prevention. They were able to donated $300.00 to the Ounce of Prevention organization. The team is coached by Michael Brown and Brian Hamann.
The second donation was from St. Michael School. They had pink day on Monday, October 22nd in support of the Ounce of Prevention Breast Cancer Fund. Principal Amy Weidner invited all students and faculty to wear their pink.
The 5th through 8th grade student council helped raise funds for Ounce of Prevention. They raised a total of $143.00.
