10/19/12 Operating a vehicle While Intoxicated is number one on the Marshall County Top Ten Offenses for September 2012.  The list continues with Failure to Appear and Theft at number three.  Arrests for cocaine or meth were the fourth followed by marijuana.  The sixth reason people were booked into the County Jail was for Driving While Suspended followed by Habitual Traffic Violator.  Rounding out the top ten was Probation Violation, Battery and Civil.

There were 139 booked into the jail last month.  Argos Police arrested one male while Bourbon officers arrested 5 males and 1 female.  Bremen Police arrested 10 males and 3 females and Culver officers put 2 males in the Marshall County Jail.  Indiana State Police Troopers arrested 9 males and 2 females in September and Plymouth Officers booked in 33 males and 9 females.  County Police Officers arrested 45 males and 14 females.

Deputies with the Sheriff’s Department investigated 52 accidents, 14 involved personal injury and 38 were property damage. 75 care reports were taken and 11 citations written in September. 765 civil process papers were served and 423 were served.
