Proceeds from the event were donated to the Marshall County Humane Society to assist with their continued dedication to rescuing and sheltering animals in need.

Participants from all reaches of Northern Indiana gathered Saturday at Tim Martin Buick GMC for the 2nd Annual Cruise In to benefit the Marshall County Humane Society. Tim Martin Buick GMC provided food and prizes for all attendees as well as People’s Choice awards to the top 3 vehicles. Those taking the People’s Choice awards this year included (in order of place):

1. a 1976 Plymouth Duster owned by Lee McIntire,

2. a 1960 Ford Falcon owned by Richard Holderman, and

3. a 1962 Studebaker Champ Truck owned by William and Jolene Cook

Funds raised from the event totaled $400, which will be donated in their entirety to the Humane Society. In addition to the proceeds, Tim Martin Buick GMC donated 150 lbs of dog food to help the Humane Society feed our four-legged friends. Barney Martin, a French bulldog and recent adoption from the Humane Society, was in attendance to represent the shelter.
