07/27/12 Culver Elementary School announces back to school activities for the 2012-2013 school year. Culver Elementary School grades (K-6) registration will be held on Wednesday, August 1stand Thursday August 2nd from 8:00am-11:30am and 1:00pm-6:00pm.
Parents and guardians of kindergarten students and all other students who are new to the school must provide a written statement of the child’s immunization accompanied by the physician’s certificate or other documents. Parents can also obtain an application for reduced price lunch upon registration. The information will allow you to check the income levels and family size guidelines to see if you qualify, if you meet the criteria you are encouraged to fill out the application, at that time you are required to also show proof of income.
Text book rental fees for kindergarten students will be $134.00, 1st grade $122.00, 2ndgrade $127.00, 3rd grade $127.00, 4th grade $126.00, 5thgrade $120.00, and 6th grade $116.00.
Breakfast and lunch costs for kindergarten to sixth grade are $1.15 for breakfast, lunch $2.45 and milk will be $.35. Reduced breakfast price will be $.30 and $.40 for lunch.
Reminder that students first full day of school will be Tuesday, August 14th and a reminder that Friday time releases will be adjusted to allow for professional development of the staff. Culver will begin dismissal of elementary students at 2:30pm every Friday of the school year.
