nnn06/13/12   On Monday June 11th, Plymouth Police Department had an active evening as they arrest TWO shoplifters at Wal-Mart.

 

   A short time later at 8:22pm, Travis L. Chizum 36, of Belle Plaine, Iowa was arrested for theft at Wal-Mart after he attempted to flee the area. Officer Jason Dobbins was able to detain Chizum and transport him to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for the theft, resisting law enforcement and was given a $4500.00 cash bond. Chizum is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court I on July 31st at 8:30am.

   Just when the evening was coming to a close around 10:54pm, Plymouth Police again was called to Wal-Mart for the arrest of Michael Dalton 51, of Plymouth. After an investigation Dalton had told Officer Gary Cleveland that he had stolen the lithium batteries to manufacture methamphetamines. Dalton, at the time of the apprehension had gone through the register lanes and purchased Coleman fuel and drain cleaner two precursors for making meth. Dalton was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for theft and illegal possession or sale of precursor over 10 grams. Daltons bond is set at $3,000.00 cash and is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court I on June 19th at 8:30am.
