06/13/12  On Thursday, June 7th at approximately 5:07pm, the Marshall County Dispatch Center received a report of a collision that had occurred in the 10,000 block of Gumwood Road.   The property owner advised that he located his mailbox and it was damaged.  He also advised that it was apparent that a vehicle had struck the mailbox and left the scene of the collision.  Evidence at the scene showed that the vehicle had been traveling south on Gumwood Road, traveled left of center, left of the roadway on the east side of the road and struck the mailbox.  The collision apparently happened on June 7th between 6:30am and 5:00pm.  The vehicle involved is believed to be a Honda Accord.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Patrolman Nicholas Laffoon at 936-3187.

On Sunday, June 10th at around 5:08pm, Patrolman Nicholas Laffoon of the Marshall County Police Department investigated a theft at a residence in the 7000 block of Tulip Road.  Upon arriving at the scene it was determined that between the evening of Friday, June 8th and Sunday June 10th an unknown person had come on the property and removed several compressed gas tanks and other welding supplies.  Anyone with information about this incident is requested to contact the Marshall County Police department at 574-936-3187.
