05/11/12 The annual Cafe’ Jazz event at Plymouth High School is this Friday, May 11th!
This annual event turns the PHS Multi-Purpose gymnasium into a jazz nightclub for one evening of great food and jazz music. Tickets are available at the door for $8.00 and ticket price includes all food items served throughout the evening. Coca Cola products are sold separately.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and performances by different jazz ensembles will begin every 20 minutes. Performances will include the following groups:
7:00 – the Lincoln All-Stars Jazz Ensemble
7:15 – original music by PHS Jazz Ensemble students
7:20 – Knox Middle School Jazz Ensemble
7:40 – Norwell Middle School Jazz Ensemble
8:00 – Knox High School Tomahawk Jazz Ensemble
8:20 – Norwell High School Jazz Ensemble
8:40 – Plymouth High School Jazz Ensemble
9:00 – combined jazz ensembles finale
Throughout the evening there will be raffle items given away as well as a large silent auction on numerous gift packages and items donated by area businesses. The highest bidder at the end of the evening wins the auction items.
