03/12/12 On Wednesday, March 7th at 5:01pm, Corporal Bridget Hite of the Plymouth Police Department responded to Wal-Mart on North Oak Drive in reference to a male shoplifter. Blake C. Simpson of Knox was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked for theft, and given a $1000.00 cash bond. Simpson is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #1 on April 17th at 8:30am.
During the evening of March 7th at 8:49pm, Officer Derek Workman of the Plymouth P. D. responded to the intersection of Broadway and Harrison Streets for a call on an altercation that involved a loaded weapon. Armando Wagers 32, and Andrew Grove Jr. 26, both of South Bend were arrested after Officer Workman arrived on scene. Wagers was charged with criminal recklessness-armed with a deadly weapon, and possession of marijuana. He was held with no bond. Grove was charged with false informing in the commission of a crime and was given a $500.00 cash bond. Both are scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on April 24th at 8:30am.
On Thursday, March 8th around 10:45pm, Officer Paul Stamper of the Plymouth Police Department was working Operation Pull Over when he pulled a vehicle over on East Jefferson Street and Simon Street. It was found that the passenger, 27 year old Shawn Cretcher of Argos had an outstanding warrant through Marshall County. Cretcher was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for the failure to appear /costs and fines warrant, and is scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on March 13th at 8:30am.
