03/08/12 Lori McAbee of Community Casket Company in South Bend spoke at Miller’s Senior Living Community in Plymouth on Monday afternoon, March 5 in a seminar titled “Taking Control of Funeral Costs”. McAbee who is co-owner of the company enlightened residents and their guests about the hidden costs of funeral planning. She also provided advice and resources for all aspects of funeral planning. McAbee explained it is important to be informed about every aspect of planning a funeral and to always ask for an itemized list of all costs from your chosen funeral home; what you learn from this list is very important.
