01/25/12 On Saturday, January 21st at approximately 12:40 A.M. Patrolman Brandon Cooper of the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle which subsequently pulled into the Speedway Parking Lot at US 6 and US 31.
During the investigation it was determined that the driver and passenger, later identified as Dana E. Richards 47, of Mishawaka and
Joseph M. Bobik 33, of Walkerton were in possession of materials used in the manufacture of methamphetamines. Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail. Richards was booked in for Possession of Chemical Reagents / Precursors and Possession of Methamphetamines, and was given a $2,000.00 cash bond. Bobik was booked in for Possession of Chemical Reagents and was given a $2,000.00 Both are scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on February 28th at 8:30am.
