11/21/11 The Marshall County Commissioners will meet at 9:30 a.m. today (Monday, November 21st ) in the second floor meeting room of the County Building.

The first agenda item if the opening of bids for the farm lease at Shady Rest.  Rich Ulrich, Director of the County’s Buildings and Grounds will bring his concern to the commissioners on the elevators in the County Building and Jeff Kutch from Culver Academies will discuss Academy Road.  Neal Haeck from the County High Way Department will report and Jeff Million will update work on the 13th Road Bridge replacement.  The bridge was opened on Friday, November 11th, approximately 4 months behind schedule.

Other commissioner agenda items include the County Attorney Report by Jim Clevenger, Auditor’s report by Penny Lukenbill.  The commissioners will discuss the name designation for Pine Road/Pioneer Drive, consider a contract for codification of the county’s ordinances, and make appointments to the Plymouth Public Library Board and the Culver Plan Commission.

President of the Commissioners Kevin Overmyer is expected to announce the deposit of $800,000 into the County bank, the money is the payment from the state for the county to control Michigan Road from the north side of Argos northward to US 31.
