11/07/11 The Plymouth High School and Lincoln Jr. High School Orchestras have invited the Plymouth Community Youth Orchestra to join them in the first-ever Plymouth Orchestra’s Fall Dessert Concert.  The event will take place on Tuesday, November 8th, in the Lincoln Jr. High School auditorium.  This is the first time that all of the orchestra programs in Plymouth have combined into one big night wonderful music by the youth in our community.

The event will feature the Plymouth Community Youth Orchestra’s (PCYO) Concert Orchestra and Symphonic Orchestra.   In addition, the PCYO will also present a smaller Chamber Ensemble.  The Lincoln  Jr. High School and Plymouth High School Orchestras will each be performing as well.   At the end of the evening, select members of the Pride of Plymouth Marching Band will be joining the PCYO Chamber Ensemble and the Plymouth High School Chamber Orchestra to combine and perform a full orchestration of “Rites of Tamburo” by composer Robert W. Smith.

Directors Bryan Ames, Lisa Wallyn, and Gabriele Hill would like to invite everyone from the community to attend the event.  Refreshments will be served immediately following the concert.
