09/27/11 The Plymouth Kiwanis group held their officers installation dinner at Pretty Lake Trinity United Methodist Church and welcomed their new president as well as honoring distinguished members.

Angie Stults,   Branch Manager of PNC Bank in Plymouth was elected president for the new fiscal year. Stults says “I am excited to be a part of such a wonderful group of dedicated people and I am looking forward to a great year of service”. Stults replaces Dale Cramer of Plymouth who led the Plymouth civic group during a very successful year in its fundraising efforts which benefit local youth. Cramer thanked all members of Kiwanis for making his term of president so easy.  New board members for the year are Fr. William Kummer of St. Michael’s Church, Susan Wagner of Plymouth and Diann Bradley of Argos.

Rich Hersick, owner of All American Welding Supply Inc. in Plymouth and Tom Sibal, Associate Director of Institutional Advancement of Ancilla College, were named Kiwanians of the year. Cramer says Hersick was chosen for his work as chairman of the Blueberry Pancake Committee and his service on the board. Sibal was honored for his dedication to Kiwanis during the past year when he served as a board member, chairman of the Peanut Committee and for his work on the monthly Kiwanis newsletter

Following the dinner the Kiwanians held an auction of a variety of items donated by its members to benefit the group’s administrative fund. Member Dave Goebel of RE/MAX Oak Crest Realty served as the auctioneer. The auction netted nearly $1,300.
