09/19/11 On Saturday, September 10th at 12:49 a.m. Patrolman Brandon Cooper of the Marshall County Police Department conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of US 30 and Plymouth Goshen Trail. Through his investigation it was determined that the passenger, Daniel T. Jones 23, of Crown Point was in possession of Marijuana. Mr. Jones was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail and held with a $1000.00 cash bond for his release. Jones is also scheduled to appear in Marshall County Superior Court #2 on October 11th at 8:30am.
Sometime between 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 11th and 5:30 p.m. on Monday, September 12th, an unknown person entered a property in the 14,000 block of State Road 17 near Culver and removed a red TGB (Taiwan Golden Bee) Laser R-5 moped with white lettering and a 49 CC motor.
