08/09/11 On Saturday, August 6th at approximately 3:20 a.m. Officer O’Neal from the Marshall County Police Department was dispatched to a property damage accident in the 11,000 block of 11th Road.  Upon arrival, Officer O’Neal located a silver passenger car sitting in the roadway with heavy front end damage.  The driver was identified as David Cottrell 23, of Plymouth.  After speaking with Mr. Cottrell it was believed that an odor commonly associated with alcohol was detected.  He then submitted to a roadside chemical test with a result of .110% B.A.C.  Officer O’Neal then transported Mr. Cottrell to the Marshall County Police Department where he was given a certified chemical test with a result of .09% B.A.C.  At that time he was booked into to the Marshall County Jail on charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle While Intoxicated.  A cash bond was set at $2,000.00.  Mr. Cottrell was released on August 8th at 3:35am, due to a No Judicial Review.  A court date was scheduled for August 16th in Marshall County Superior Court #2.
