08/05/11 On Wednesday August 3rd just after 2:00 p.m. Marshall County Police were dispatched to the 13,000 block of 4th Road for a burglary report.  The homeowner reported that  sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. a theft from the residence had occurred.  The victims had left the residence for a short time and upon returning home found several items stolen from the property.  The subjects entered a fenced yard by opening an unlocked gate and driving onto the property.  Entry was then made into an attached garage through an unlocked door where several items were stolen.  Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact Patrolman Jeff Snyder at the Marshall County Police Department 574-936-3187.

Just an hour and a half later around 3:50 p.m. Patrolman Jonathon Bryant from the County Police Department conducted a traffic stop on US 30 just west of Pioneer Drive.  The driver, 25 year old Ernest W. Keen III of Knox was found to have a suspended driver’s license.  He was transported to the Jail where he was booked in with a $750.00 cash bond.  Keen has a scheduled court appearance in Marshall County Superior Court # 2 on August 23rd at 8:30 a.m.
