08/05/11 Music students of Liza Woolever gathered at Miller’s Senior Living Community for a jam session and potluck supper on Friday, August 29.
Woolever and her husband Mark are professional musicians who tour the mid-west performing folk music in period costume. They play a variety of instuments including fiddle, guitar, banjo, dulcimer, harmonica and recorder. Woolever’s students are a variety of ages and skill levels. Miller’s residents were invited to join in the jam session or they could sit and listen and enjoy the music. There were a dozen or more musicians who joined in the jam and created and fun evening for the residents. The next jam session will be in October. Watch the WTCA website for a date and time.
