05/17/11 Chelsie Miller of Vicksburg High School in Vicksburg, MI, has signed with the Ancilla College women’s volleyball team for the 2011 season.

Miller, a setter, has lettered the past two years at Vicksburg under head coach Katrina Miller and will join fellow Vicksburg teammate and Ancilla signee Kelly Duke as a member of the Lady Chargers.

“Chelsea will be a great asset to our Ancilla family,” said Ancilla volleyball coach Lana Singleton.  She is a hard worker, a good student, and has a bubbly personality.  She always has a smile on her face.  I love working with and coaching these types of kids.”

Miller led Vicksburg this past season in aces (53) and assists (453).  Off the court, she is an honor roll student, a member of 4-H, and is involved in youth group.

She is the daughter of Dale and Cindy Miller and plans on majoring in Education.

“Ancilla is perfect for me,” said Miller.  “I love the fact that it is a smaller college and the campus is beautiful.  I cannot wait to play for Ancilla.
