05/03/11 On Saturday, April 30th at 1:34 P.M. Patrolman Nicholas Laffoon with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 12000 block of Rose Road in reference to a burglary complaint.  Upon arriving at the scene it was found that several out-buildings located on three separately owned lots had been entered.  After further investigation it was found that items had been removed from each of the buildings.   Among the items taken were several gas powered chain saws, hand tools, gas cans and welding equipment.  The theft occurred between the evening hours of Friday, April 29th and the early morning hours of Saturday, April 30th.

Later Saturday night at 6:04 P.M. Patrolman Travis O’ Neal responded to 723 South Michigan Street in LaPaz after receiving a complaint of a theft of gasoline from the Phillips 66 Gas Station.   Officer O’Neal was advised that a red, 4 door sedan with a black door had pumped approximately $49.00 in gas and left the pump without paying.
