04/21/11 Gina Young, Recreation Director for the Plymouth Park Department announced Easter activities in the park.  The Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by Dr. Christy of Plymouth Family Dentistry is this Saturday at noon.

Children ages walking through 11 will hunt for over 3,000 plastic Easter eggs in three age groups; 4 and under, 5 to 7, and 8 to 11.  Over 3,000 eggs have been provided by Tri-Kappa and filled with candy, small prizes, and paper slips for over 125 prizes provided by Dr. Christy.  Larger prizes include three grand prizes of a bike for each of the older age groups and a wagon for the youngest group, toys including pogo sticks, play dough, styrofoam airplanes, and more.  They also have 110 Easter baskets filled with great treats for the kids. 

Along with the Easter Egg Hunt the park will have face painting provided by Kiwanis Key Club members, a blow-up Jumpy House, and Young’s TV & Appliance will offer free hotdogs while the park will giveaway free Coke. 

Join in the fun at Plymouth’s Centennial Park for an afternoon with the Easter Bunny!  Bring your cameras for great photo opportunities. 

Tickets for Breakfast with the Easter Bunny are still available.  Breakfast will be served at the Webster Rec. Center on Saturday from 9:30 to 11.  Join the Easter Bunny for a Kiwanis pancake breakfast.  Tickets are $4 for adults and $3 for children. This is an up close and personal visit with the Easter Bunny and a great photo opportunity.  Call the Plymouth Park Department for tickets.  (936-2876) Tickets will also be available at the door.
