It took six days using two printers to print all the tax statements and four people have been working for days and days folding the statement and stuffing the envelopes.

Tax bills should be mailed on Friday and will start showing up in your mailboxes are early as Saturday.

The first installment is due May 10, 2011 and the second installment is due November 10, 2011.

A new option for payments this year is to use the drop box located at the south entrance of the County Building. The box will close at 6 p.m. on May 10th and November 10th.

As an option you may pay your property taxes using a debit or credit card.  You will need the correct parcel number and amount due.  A convenience fee in addition to the amount of the tax owed will be charged to the credit-card by PayGov.  You may use your card in the Treasurer’s office, on the internet using the county’s website www.co.marshall.in.us or calling toll free 1-866-4808552.
