03/21/11 On Sunday, March 20th the LaPaz North Township Fire Department was dispatched to a reported commercial fire at 12799 3A Road, Berger Farm and Welding. The call was dispatched at 11:02 a.m. and the first truck arrived on scene at 11:05 am.
Mathew Haskins, Fire Chief said the fire was under control at 11:20 am. Berger Farm and Welding only had minor damage in a small area of one corner of the storage portion of the building. The fire does not appear to be suspicious in nature and there were no injuries reported. The LaPaz North Township Fire Department received mutual aid from Polk Fire Department and Plymouth Fire Department.
