03/21/11 The Marshall County Commissioners will meet Monday morning with a number of items on their agenda.

Alan Loehr from the Culver Boys and Girls Club will give the commissioners an update on the club’s participation and financial status.

At 9:45 a public hearing will be held on an ordinance that handles drainage settlement and control.    The Plan Commission has reviewed and recommended this ordinance.

At 10 o’clock Curt Feece will be on hand to further discuss the proposed Soccer Complex for the Plymouth Travel Soccer Club on farm ground at Shady Rest.  In January Feece and Duane Culp asked the Commissioners for approximately 40 acres of land west of Shady Rest.  The commissioners asked for a business plan for more details of their proposal.

Marshall County Coroner Bill Cleavenger will present the 2010 Coroner’s Report and Jerry Fussel from the County Health Department will seek approval to participate in the IEHER Team.

Marshall County Sheriff Tom Chamberlin Clerk of the Court Julie Fox will appear before the Commissioners asking to fill a vacancy in their respective department.

The commissioners will also hear from Neal Haeck the County Highway Superintendent, Jim Clevenger the County Attorney and Auditor Penny Lukenbill.  The other agenda item is for the commissioners to set minimum bids for their certificate sale.

The Commissioner’s meeting is open to the public for comments and questions.
