The newly formed Women Advisory Group held a networking event on Saturday night with a wine and cheese reception. The event was held at the Midas Center at 100 W. Garro Street in Plymouth.

The group was created by four professional women in the area to encourage women entrepreneurs in their careers through sharing, networking, and supporting.

Founding members include Marianne Peters, freelance writer; Andrea Cook,  Midas Center ,specializing in marketing, advertising, public relations and branding; Nancy Chess Felde, landscape artist; and Tina Fitch, realtor.

Cook said she is pleased that the group has become multi-generational. She explained that the gifts women often bring to forefront are those of being altruistic and nurturing. Cook feels that the networking environment at their monthly meetings will promote a professional sharing relationship among members and identify professional role models for others.
