The Plymouth JV Softball team beat Bremen 7 to 3 tonight. Offensively, freshman Audrey Himes led the Pilgrims with 6 RBIs coming on 2 out of 3 plate appearances. Those RBIs were knocked in off a double and a grand slam home run. Other hits by Plymouth came from freshman Josie Koontz going for 2 for 3, and Shayla Noble going 1 for 4, but reaching base twice on errors. On the mound for Plymouth, Josie Koontz tossed the win. She allowed 8 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. Tight defense was the key to tonights win as Plymouth had zero errors in the field.
The Plymouth JV Softball team will take on John Glenn at home at 4:30.
