Arrested_handcuffThursday morning at 4:00 A.M. Officer Jeremy Enyart with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a routine traffic stop for a vehicle without tail-lights.   30 year old Wilfred S. Hernandez of Plymouth was found to be operating a vehicle without ever receiving a driver’s licenses.   Hernandez was taken into custody, transported to the County Jail and held on a $255 bond. He was released a short time later after posting bond and was issued a Marshall County Superior II court date of March 31st to answer to the preliminary charge.

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
