During Thursday evening’s Plymouth Pilgrims Basketball game with Warsaw, Teachers Credit Union hosted a money grab event on the gym floor. Every spectator who entered the game was given a ticket and just before halftime of the varsity game Athletic Director Roy Benge called the winning tickets.
One fan from the Warsaw group and one fan from the Plymouth crowd had the opportunity to pick up as many bills placed on the gym floor as possible in a thirty second time period. The floor was covered in one dollar bills, fives, tens, twenties, a couple fifties and a couple hundreds.
Although the Warsaw adult gathered the most, $337.00 the fan favorite, Chapman Yoder representing PHS grabbed up $313.00.
